Atelier About Architecture is founded by architect WANG Ni in 2013.


WANG Ni holds a Bachelor of design in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from University of Sydney, the atelier is committed to exploring the enlightenment on modern life from the interaction between Eastern and Western civilizations, and to extracting the beauty of everyday life to transform it into a synesthetic experience in contemporary context, so as to discuss the introvert meaning of life style. Atelier About Architecture presided over the architectural and interior design and renovation projects including the headquarters of China Resources University in Xiong'an, W House, The Dog House, House M, House J, among a few others.


Atelier About Architecture have been featured multiple times on global professional media platforms such as Dezeen, Archdaily, Divisare, Architectural Digest (AD), Wallpaper, and Elle Decoration, and have been repeatedly selected for Architectural Digest's 'AD100' as well as ELLE Decor's 'A-List' rankings.Wang Ni was also selected for the Phaidon publication "Making Space: Interior Design by Women," which features 250 outstanding female designers from over 50 countries from 1892 to the present, making it a milestone work in the history of women's interior design worldwide.


In 2025, Atelier About Architecture received the Commended Award from the AR House Awards, presented by Architecture Review for Best Residential Project.


左通右达建筑工作室由建筑师王旎创立于2013年。王旎毕业于悉尼大学，获建筑学本科及硕士学位。工作室以“左通右达”为精神内核，取中正圆融的哲学意向，作为创作与实践的底层方法。


工作室自2020年起建构了完整的创作模式，由王旎独立主持运营，形成了以人作为研究本体，探索精神边界与空间体验的深度联结的建筑哲学。设计从日常与自然中提炼诗意感知，转化为身体可抵达的通感体验，以抽象建构回应身体、情感与环境的内向关联，回归居住本质，讨论“人”的身体情感与环境的内向关联，而从转化成生活方式的精神意涵。2020年以来所有项目实践、作品发表、奖项荣誉与媒体成果，均由工作室现核心团队完成。


工作室代表作品： M住宅，J住宅，湖畔住宅Residence LL，光隙筑，碧绿之家，海之家，卷心之家，三合院住宅等建筑与改造项目。作品多次登上Dezeen、Archdaily、Architectural Digest、Wallpaper、Elle Decoration等全球专业媒体平台，2015至2025年连续五次入选“安邸100”榜单，作品登上世界权威建筑杂志ABITARE第649期封面，并作为中国唯一事务所，获得Architecture Review颁发的最佳住宅奖AR House Awards评委嘉奖（Commended Award)。


王旎入选权威出版机构Phaidon书籍《Making Space: Interior Design by Women》，该书收录1892年至今，横跨50多个国家的250位卓越女性设计师，是全球女性室内设计史里程碑式著作。
